Shyness has been defined as a set of learned behaviours and feelings that interfere with relating to people or having successful relationships.

Whilst mild shyness in and of itself is no particular problem, when it becomes linked with fearful or anxious reactions that restrict you from living a normal healthy life, it can become very controlling and quite possibly isolating in nature.  Locking you away from healthy interactions with other people and limiting the quality of life.

Whilst fear and anxiety are a response governed by our unconscious mind, at the Social Anxiety Clinic I utilise very deliberate, purposeful and direct techniques that help to create new unconscious patterns.  These new unconscious patterns help to remove any external threats that have been causing the fearful and anxious feelings, giving you back control and returning your quality of life.

Using the tools and techniques of Hypnosis, NLP and Belief Change Techniques makes learning new ways to shift your focus from what you can’t do to what you can do suprisingly easy.  Consistently practicing these strategies forms an integral part of their regaining control.
